Having used this gun for many years I can attest to it's performance & unattested durability. Performance wise, this roofing nailer is solid. Is it the fastest? No. I guess I haven't used the most current generation of this model I'm guessing that most things haven't changed. It was always a bit bulky, a little slow, but overall it performed well and lasted forever. These things could fall off the roof land on concrete and still work. If reliability is key, than this is you roof gun.

Looking for a solid performer at a great price point? The Milwaukee Roofing Gun is a decent option for you. I can't attest to the lifespan, but I can say that it perfroms well out of the box. It has a depth of drive adjustment so you can set your nail depth on the fly. This is a pretty standard feature these days and is very nice. The best thing about this gun is the value, great price and performance for a brand name roofing gun.

The hitachi is TOP GUN!This Roof gun has always been the best performer, it's the fastest gun on the market. It can also be high maintanance, yes with high performance comes high maintnance. It is definately the speed machine though. It's light weight and you can really put on some square per hour with this gun.
